Reference Help Available Via Chat
	Del Mar College Libraries now offers reference help via chat. Students are able to get reference questions answered by chatting live with a Reference Librarian. Reference Librarians will be available during regular library hours.

Need music to help you study? Visit Rm. 528 in the William F. White, Jr. Library
	As requested by students, beginning Monday, August 31, The William F. White, Jr. Library will begin playing background music in Rm. 528. Come by and visit if you prefer to study with the sounds of music. Music genre will vary each week. If you prefer to study in a quiet area there are study areas on the 2nd & 3rd floors as well as small study rooms on the 2nd, 3rd and other areas on the 5th floor.

DMC Curricular Enrichment Film Series - Bird
The DMC Curricular Enrichment Film Series presents Bird on Friday, November 13 at 2:00 pm in the William F. White, Jr. Library Rm. 530. 	Del Mar College Libraries would like to remind you that Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend. Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 a.m.

DMC Libraries CLOSED Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day
	The William F. White, Jr. Library and Barth Learning Resources Center will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2009 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, September 8. View the Library hours.

Reminder: DMC Library's end of semester due date for Summer '09 is August 13th.

DMC Libraries Open on a Between-semester Schedule During Maymester
The William F. White, Jr. Library and Barth Learning Resources Center will be open on a between-semester schedule beginning May 7 - May 22. View the library hours.

Librarian Honored As Faculty Emeritus
	On Tuesday, February 17, 2009, the Del Mar College Board of Regents honored long time faculty librarian, Noe Guerra as Faculty Emeritus. Mr. Guerra served as a faculty librarian for over 35 years and was recognized for his service to the college and community. Mr. Guerra (front row left) is pictured following the ceremony with his daughter and son-in-law and members of the library staff. Click on the image to enlarge.
DMC Libraries Open Special Hours During Spring Break
DMC Libraries will be open during Spring Break. The hours of operation for each library are listed below:
	Barth Learning Resources Center (West Campus) will be OPEN Sunday, March 15 - Tuesday, March 17 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm William F. White, Jr. Library (East Campus) will be OPEN Tuesday, March 17 - Thursday, March 19 from 12:00pm - 8:00 pm View the Library Hours.
Both Libraries will be CLOSED Saturday, March 14, Friday, March 20 - Sunday, March 22. Regular hours resume on Monday, March 23.
