Del Mar College launched its 2019-2024 Strategic Plan: Aspire. Engage. Achieve. in September 2019. Nine key performance indicators were selected from the plan to measure student achievement at the College.
Student Achievement Indicators
- Number of degrees and certificates awarded
- Graduation rates (3 year, 4 year, and 6 year rates)
- Average time to complete an associate degree
- Average semester credit hour hours (SCH) attempted when completing an associate degree
- Transfer to a four-year institution
- Fall-to-fall persistence rates
- Percentage of academically unprepared students who satisfy TSI requirements within 2 years
- Percentage of academically unprepared students completing a college-level course in the subject they entered not ready (math, reading, writing) within 2 years
- Graduate job placement rate
Del Mar College’s Student Achievement Indicators include both Thresholds and Targets for achievement and support the attainment of the strategic plan goals. Progress on the attainment of Student Achievement Indicators will be published annually.
