    Dia de los Muertos
    Collaboration with Mexican American Studies

    October 30 | 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1st and 2nd that honors the lives of deceased loved ones. Far from being a somber occasion, it’s a colorful, joyful celebration filled with music, food, and art. Families and friends create ofrendas (altars) decorated with photos, candles, marigolds, and favorite items of the departed to welcome their spirits back for a brief visit.

Please join us to celebrate this rich tradition!

    • Location: White Library, Rm. 218, DMC Heritage Campus

Thanksgiving Feast - Give Away for Students

    November 3 thru November 17

We’re hosting a Canned Food Drive to support some of our students in need, and we need your help! You can contribute in two impactful ways:

    • Donate non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, soups, beans, pasta, rice, etc.
    • Make a monetary donation—every dollar goes directly toward purchasing food and essentials for students in need.

Your generosity, big or small, helps bring comfort and nourishment to our student community. Let’s come together and make this season brighter for everyone!

TACHE hopes to be able to provide a complete meal for a few students in need.

Please keep an eye out for donation boxes at all three campuses
