The LELC is open to the DMC community. The center offers many programs and tools to assist students and instructors of READ 0305, ENG 0305/0306, INRW 0408, and ESOL courses. Students are encouraged to seek help from the lab staff with coursework specifically in reading, vocabulary development, grammar, pronunciation, TEFL test prep and general questions about DMC student life. Students are encouraged to relax in our reading area and books are available to borrow for recreational reading.
Instructors of READ 0305, ENG 0305/0306, INRW 0408, and ESOL courses can utilize the center for their classes which include computer usage and equipment (by appointment only). The center also provides access to a variety of literature in class sets that instructors may borrow.
