Phi Theta Kappa
PHI THETA KAPPA, GAMMA SIGMA CHAPTER
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
BECOME A MEMBER
In order for a Del Mar student to become a member of the Gamma Sigma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the student must have completed 6 credit hours, and have a GPA of 3.5 (must maintain a 3.0 once a member.) Eligible students should receive an invitation for membership on their Del Mar email account. Once you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa we encourage you to take part in our monthly meetings!
