Estimated Nursing Program Costs

In addition to regular tuition, these are the typical expenses once accepted into the nursing program. All costs are subject to change:

Semester 1:

• Books (one-time cost $700-800)
• Two uniforms ($250)
• Stethoscope and watch ($50)
• Skills bag ($150)
• Drug screen ($40)

Semesters 2, 3, 4

• Skills bag refills ($100)

Final Semester (semester 3 for VN students; semester 4 for RN students):

• Initial licensing fee with Texas Board of Nursing ($75)
• NCLEX exam fee with PearsonVue ($200)
