Mrs. Shileen Lee is an accomplished financial and administrative executive with more than 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas accounting, where she successfully managed a $1 billion budget, as well as holding key financial leadership roles in corrections and entertainment accounting. She brings a broad and sophisticated background spanning both for profit and non profit sectors to her current position as Chief Financial Officer of Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. For over eight years, she has provided strategic direction and fiscal oversight for a $40+ million budget supported by more than 25 state and federal funding streams that sustain workforce development initiatives across an 11 county region in the Coastal Bend.

As CFO, Mrs. Lee oversees all financial operations and provides executive leadership for the organization’s Information Technology, Human Resources, Facilities, Procurement and Contracts administration, and project management functions. Her responsibilities include ensuring compliance with internal policies and extensive state and federal regulations; upholding cybersecurity and data governance standards (IT); directing workforce planning and employee relations (HR); facility management; and managing the complete procurement lifecycle, from competitive sourcing and contract negotiation to compliance monitoring and performance evaluation.

Mrs. Lee is recognized for her strong commitment to accuracy, transparency, and robust internal controls. She provides leadership over critical operational areas including financial reporting, audit coordination, budget development, and administrative systems, ensuring the responsible and compliant management of public funds.

A collaborative and mission driven leader, Mrs. Lee works closely with operational management and staff to strengthen financial literacy and support data driven decision making. Through her expertise in process improvement, internal financial reporting, and cost allocation, she distills complex financial matters into clear, actionable insights that align with organizational strategy and performance goals.
