Accreditation

Del Mar College and many of its programs have two levels of accreditation: Institutional Accreditation and Programmatic Accreditation. While there are many differences between institutional and programmatic accreditation, the commonality is that accreditation at any level shows the achievement and commitment to high standards of quality.

Because institutional and programmatic accreditation is a crucial aspect to support and amplify student success, assistance is available. Members of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Academics support every aspect of the accreditation process from reviewing, compiling, and editing materials required to attain or maintain accreditation to interpreting policies and supporting programs in achieving compliance.
