The IT Information Security team's mission is to raise awareness and develop a cybersecurity mindset among the Del Mar College community. IT provides training using the KnowBe4, a best-in-class phishing simulation and training platform.

Features

• KnowBe4 has a large library of updated training content delivered through interactive modules, videos, games, newsletters and more, available in over 34 languages.
• To reinforce DMC's security culture, KnowBe4 provides a phish alert button integrated into Outlook so students and employees can forward email threats to the security team and help protect the college community.
• Periodic simulated phishing tests check the community's awareness level and informs IT's training and awareness program goals.

Requirements

• An active Del Mar College account.

Data Security

• All Del Mar College employees are required to complete annual cyber security training.

Get Started

Employees should complete their annual cyber security training, typically sent in the first quarter of each year. By completing this training, they are keeping the college compliant with federal and state cyber requirements and helping to protect the college community from very real, daily cyber attacks.
