Program Overview
Safety training & education provides employers, managers, supervisors, and employees with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their job in a safe space and avoid creating hazards that could place themselves or others at risk.
Awareness and understanding of workplace hazards and how to identify, report, and control them.
Training helps employees understand approved practices and safety expectations. Safety training is crucial for workers gaining a solid knowledge of safety topics associated with their jobs. If safety isn't made explicitly relevant to employees' jobs, they will be at greater risk for injury, illness or even death.

Course Details
Food Service Manager Certificate
This 1-day, 7-hour course provides intense training for basic food safety principles and being able to identify symptoms associated with disease transmissible through food. Training has been designed to mirror real-life situations to help food industry professionals understand critical food safety principles. Complete this one day class to earn a national certificate from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP), accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
OSHA 30 Construction
This training assists students in recognizing and evaluating hazards in the workplace and implementing control measures including engineering, administrative, and personal protective equipment. Upon successful completion, students receive an OSHA 30 card from the Occupational Safety and Health Division. Classes are offered both online and in person.
Admissions Requirement
- Students must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma/GED not required
